सिध्     

सिध् [sidh]   I. 4 P. (सिध्यति, सिषेध, असिधत्, सेत्स्यति, सेद्धुम्, सिद्ध; -Caus. साधयति or सेधयति; desid. सिषित्सति)
To be accomplished or fulfilled; यत्ने कृते यदि न सिध्यति कोऽत्र दोषः [H.Pr.31;] उद्यमेन हि सिध्यन्ति कार्याणि न मनोरथैः 36; [Pt. 1.158.]
To be successful, succeed; सिध्यन्ति कर्मसु मह- त्स्वपि यन्नियोज्याः [Ś.7.4.]
To reach, hit, fall true on; उत्कर्षः स च धन्विनां यदिषवः सिध्यन्ति लक्ष्ये चले [Ś.2.5.]
To attain one's object.
To be proved or established, to become valid; यदि वचनमात्रेणैवाधिपत्यं सिध्यति [H.3.]
