to treat well or with respect, honour, treat or receive hospitably, [MBh.]; [R.]; [Kāv.] &c.;

to pay the last honours to ( acc.), cremate, [R.] :

Caus. -कारयति, to cause to be treated with respect or reverence, show rev°, pay resp°, [MW.];

to cause to pay the last honours, [MBh.]
