Indispensableness; absolute necessariness; the condition or quality of a sine quaânon. This is the explication of the word; but in its current applications it appears in the sense Regard or consideration of as indispensable, necessary, important; and, thus, in that of Concernedness, engagedness, earnestness in, for, or about. Ex. अ0 धरल्यावांचून कोणतेंही कार्य सिद्धीस जात नाहीं; ह्याला पढण्याचें अ0 नाहीं म्हणून येत नाहीं; सुभेदारास ह्याचें अ0 फार आहे तो कधीं तरीं ह्याचें कार्य करीलच; ज्या पदार्थाचें अ0 आहे तो अनुकूल नसल्यास जड वाटतें.
