स्थेय [sthēya] a.  a. [स्था- कर्मणि यत्] To be fixed or placed, to be settled or determined.
   यः A person chosen to settle a dispute ( between two parties), an arbitrator, umpire, a judge; स्थेयाभ्यां गृध्रचक्राभ्यां वाचा संधिः कृतः क्षणात् [H.4.1.]
