Pass. -लुप्यते, to be torn away or carried off, be impaired or destroyed, perish, be lost, disappear, fail, [AitBr.] &c. &c.:

Caus. -लोपयति ( °ते), to tear or carry away, withhold, keep back, suppress, extinguish, destroy, [MBh.]; [Kām.]; [MārkP.]
