प्रणुद्

प्र-णुद्   a (√ नुद्) P.-णुदति, °ते, (inf.नो॑दम्, [RV.] ), to push on, propel, set in motion, drive or scare away, [RV.] &c. &c.:
Caus.-णोदयति to push or thrust away, [KaṭhUp.] ;
to move, excite, [Pañcat.] ;
to press a person to do anything (2 acc.), [Var.]

प्रणुद् [praṇud]   6 [P.]
To dispel, drive off, remove; दयिताव- लोकविकसन्नयनप्रसरप्रणुन्नमिव वारिरुहम् [Śi.9.71.]
To push or thrust forward, push on.
To drive, sir, set in motion.
To scare away, frighten away. -Caus.
To prompt, incite, urge forward.
To push away.
To request or ask any one.
