   (a) situated aside or behind. (b) remote, distant. (c) coming from a distant place. (d) unequalled, incomparable, very great (अनल्प Sāy.); ˚चक्षुस् of unequalled brightness; ˚कात्-का aside, distant; ˚केस्थ standing behind.
   raw, unripe.
   not matured, undigested.
   (पाकः पक्तव्यप्रज्ञः मूर्खः तद्विलक्षणः Of matured intellect, wise) [Rv.1.11.2,6.12.2.]
   कः indigestion (of food &c.).
   immaturity not being ripe or cooked. -Comp.
