To go astray, deviate from; as in अव्यभिचरितं साध्यसामान्याधिकरण्यं व्याप्तिः [Tarka. K.]
To transgress against, be faithless to; तस्मात् स्वधर्मं भूतानां राजा न व्यभिचारयेत् [Kau.A.1.3.]
To act crookedly.
To offend, injure.
To fail, miscarry.
To practise sorcery.
