यवागू  f. af. (in, [Uṇ. iii, 81] said to come fr.2.यु) rice-gruel
any weak decoction of other kinds of grain &c. (accord. to some, a dec° in which 4 measures of an ingredient are steeped in 64 meas° of water and the whole boiled down to half the original quantity; frequently in comp. with the ingredient from which the gruel is made), [TS.] ; [Br. &c.]

यवागू     

यवागू [yavāgū]  f. f. [यूयते मिश्र्यते यु-आगू] Rice gruel, sour gruel made from rice or from any other kind of grain, such as barley; यवागूर्विरलद्रवा Suśr.; [Mb.12.193.22;] मूत्राय कल्पते यवागूः Mbh. -Comp.
-चारकः   the lay-brother who prepares यवागू.
