to dance, [Kāv.];

to hurt or injure, [Vop.] ( cf. उन्-√ नट्) :

Caus. नाटयति ( [Dhātup. xxxii, 12]) to represent anything ( acc.) dramatically, act, perform, imitate, [Mṛcch.]; [Śak.] &c.;

to fall ( cf. √ नड्);

to shine, [Vop.]
