प्राति—शाख्य  n. n. (fr.-शाखम्) a treatise on the peculiar euphonic combination and pronunciation of letters which prevails in different शाखाs of the वेदs (there are 4 one for the शाकल-शाखा of the [RV.] ; two for particular शाखाs of the black and white यजुर्-वेदs, and one for a शाखा of the [AV.] ; cf.[IW. 149, 150] )
