   any tubular vessel of the body.
   A hollow stalk, especially that of the lotus.
   A period of 24 minutes (घटिका).
   An instrument for boring an elephant's ear.
   A canal, drain.
   A lotus flower.
   A piece of metal on which the hours are struck (घटी). -Comp.
-जङ्घः   a crow, raven.
-व्रणः   fistula, sinus.
