To bathe, perform ablution; सस्नुः पयः पपुरनोनिजुरम्बराणि [Śi.5.28;] मृगतृष्णाम्भसि स्नातः.
To perform the ceremony of bathing at the time of leaving the house of one's spiritual preceptor.
To smear oneself with. -Caus. (स्नापयति-ते, स्नपयति-ते)
