नवरात्रात मुली आणि स्त्रिया एकत्र येऊन, हतीचे चित्र अथवा मुर्ती भोवती फेर धरून पारंपारिक गाणी म्हणतात,

Bhondala is the simple gathering of unmarried girls and/or young women during the late evening of Navaratri. They gather and sing the listed songs while holding hands and moving around an image of an elephant. This elephant, in center of gathering is a symbolic presence of Lord Ganesha.
