आर्या सप्तशती हा आचार्य गोवर्धनाचार्य यांनी रचलेला पवित्र ग्रंथ आहे.

प्रस्तुत ग्रंथ १९०१ साली बडोद्याचे महाराज श्रीमंत सयाजीराव गायकवाड यांनी प्रसिद्ध केला होता.

वृत्त म्हणजे कांहीं नियमित अक्षरांत लघु- गुरुंची विशिष्ट क्रमानें रचना करुन दाखविणें.

संत निवृत्तीनाथांचे अभंग संत निवृत्तीनाथ हे संत ज्ञानेश्वर महाराजांचे थोरले बंधू होत.सर्वसामान्य जनतेला संस्कृत भाषेतील भगवद्‌गीता समजत नव्हती म्हणून निवृत्तीनाथांनी ज्ञानेश्वरांना प्राकृत(मराठी)भाषेत लिहीण्यास सांगितली, तीच "ज्ञानेश्वरी". The eldest, Nivrutti, joined the nath sect and became Nivruttinath. He also become the guru of Dnyaneshwar. He, at  the age of fourteen, instructed Dnyaneshwar, who was twelve, to write a commentry on the Bhagavad Gita

शिव हि महान शक्ति असून त्रिमूर्तींपैकी एक आहेत. विश्वाची निर्मीती ब्रह्मदेवाने केली असून नाश करण्याचे कार्य शिवाचे आहे. शिवाचे वास्तव्य कैलास पर्वतावर आहे. Shiva is one of the gods of the Trinity. He is said to be the 'god of destruction'. Shiva is married to the Goddess Parvati (Uma). Parvati represents Prakriti. Lord Shiva sits in a meditative pose on Mount Kailash against,  Himalayas.

भजन - A bhajan or kirtan is a Hindu devotional song , often of ancient origin. Great importance is attributed to the singing of bhajans with Bhakti , i.e. loving devotion. "Rasanam Lakshanam Bhajanam" means the act by which we feel more closer to our inner self or God, is a bhajan. Acts which are done for the God is called bhajan.

हरिभक्त कवियोंकी भक्तिपूर्ण रचनाओंसे जगत्‌को सुख-शांती एवं आनंदकी प्राप्ति होती है।
