शौण्ड [śauṇḍa] a.  a. (-ण़्डी f.) [शुण़्डायां सुरायाम् अभिरतः अण्]
Addicted to drinking, fond of liquor.
Excited, intoxicated, drunk &c. (fig.); अनिकृतिनिपुणं ते चेष्टितं मानशौण्ड [Ve.5.21] 'drunk with pride or very proud'.
Skilled in (with loc. or in comp.); अक्षशौण्ड, दानशौण्ड &c.
