A sort of stool. It is a thick board without legs forming a stand or bottom for certain things. 2 A common term for the three sticks forming the stand of the घरट. 3 The cross-piece in front of the framework of a cart. 4 The cross-piece over the top of a post underneath the beam: also the block-socket for the foot of a post. 5 The piece of wood underneath a राहट or spinning wheel. पिढ्याचें काम or पिढ्यापाटाचें काम That form of building in which the roof is supported upon पिढें. Opp. to लगीचें काम.
