DEVĀTITHI A king born in the Pūru dynasty. Akrodha was his father and Karambhā, daughter of the king of Kaliṅga, his mother. [Ādi Parva, Chapter 95, Verse 22] . Devātithi had wedded Maryādā, daughter of the King of Videha. [Ādi Parva, Chapter 95, Verse 23] .

देवातिथि (काण्व) n. एक सूक्तद्रष्टा [ऋ.८.४] । इसके सूक्त में रुम, रुशम, श्यावक तथा कृप का उल्लेख है [ऋ.८.४.२] , तथा अन्त में कुरुंग दानस्तुति की है [ऋ.८.४.१९] । एकबार अकाल पडा । यह अपने पुत्रों के साथ कंदमूल लाने के लिये अरण्य गया । वहॉं इसे कूष्मांड के फल प्राप्त हुएँ । इसने एक साम कह कर, उन फलों को गायों में परिवार्तित कर दिया [पं.ब्रा.९.२.१९] ।
