-निवारणम्   prevention or obviation of similar contingencies in future.
-वशात्   ind. according to the time, by the force of circumstances.-विनिवृत्तिः f. nonrecurrence of a contingency; द्विशतं तु दमं दाप्यः प्रसङ्गविनिवृत्तये [Ms.8.368.]
-समः   (in न्याय) the sophism that the proof too must be proved.
