   sharp, acute.
   thoroughly completed, effected, accomplished.
   decided, well-ascertained, determined, certain.
   Effecting, diligent in performing.
   firmly adhering to (a vow); उपोष्य संशितो भूत्वा हित्वा वेदकृताः श्रुतीः [Mb.12.] 265.7. -Comp.
-आत्मन् a.  a. one whose mind is thoroughly matured or disciplined.
-व्रत a.  a. one who has fulfilled his vow.
