कृत्वस् n. aind. at the end of a numeral or numeral adjective, -fold, times (
e.g. दश-कृत्वस्, ten times; बहु-क्°, many times; पञ्च-क्°, fivefold, [Pāṇ. 2-3, 64] ). In the वेद is used as a separate word (e.g. भू॑रि क्°, many times, [RV. iii, 18, 4] ; प॑ञ्च क्°, [TS. vi] ), but according to, [Pāṇ. 5-4, 17 and 20] ([Vop. vii, 70] ) it is only an affix, and it is so used in classical Sanskṛt
