   Sinfulness or criminality. 2 Badness, hurtfulness, harm, objectionable ground in general;--used of things or actions of which by the use or the commission sin is contracted. Hence used freely in the sense of Matter, moment, importance, consequence; as असें केल्यानें काय प्र0; शंभर आंबे आण म्हणून सांगितलें परंतु एक दोन अधिक उणे असले म्हणजे प्र0 नाहीं. In these latter senses it requires neg. con.
