Caus.-सारयति, to cause to go back, [Car.] ;
to put back again, restore to its place, [Kālid.] ;
to spread over, tip or touch with (instr.), [Suśr.] ;
to put asunder, sever, separate, [SaddhP.] :

प्रतिसृ     

प्रतिसृ [pratisṛ]   1 P. To go back, return.
To go towards, rush upon, attack, assail; दैत्यः प्रत्यसरद्देवं मत्तो मत्तमिव द्विपम् Hariv. -Caus.
To push backwards, replace; कनकवलयं स्रस्तं स्रस्तं मया प्रतिसार्यते [Ś.3.12.]
To repel, drive away or back.
