PADĀTI   one of the eight sons of Janamejaya, a king of Kuruvaṁśa. The others are Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Pāṇḍu, Bālhīka, Niṣadha, Jāmbūnada, Kuṇḍodara and Vasāti. (The Pāṇḍu and Dhṛtarāṣṭra mentioned here are not the fathers of Kauravapāṇḍavas.).
