   southern, dwelling in the south, [SŚaṃkar.]
दाक्ष  n. m. or n. the south (in °षस्या-यनn. the sun's progress towards , the winter solstice and sacrifice then performed, vi, 10">[Mn. vi, 10] [v.l.दक्ष्°])
दाक्ष  m. m. pl.N. of the disciples of a partic. school (see कुमारी-द्°).
