ईषिका [īṣikā]   1 An elephant's eye- ball. Edgerton, the author of [Mātaṅga L.,] however, says that this meaning is wrong and points out that it means, 'The under surface of the top of the eye- socket of an elephant. ईषिका त्वक्षिकूटकम् [Mātaṅga L.6.9.]
   A painter's brush.
