अहर्  n.  n. (the weak cases come fr. अ॑हन् q.v., the middle ones fr. अ॑हस् [see below] or in [RV.] also fr. अ॑हन्, q.v.) a day, [RV.] &c.
द्वादशाह   a sacrificial or festival day, portion of a sacrifice appointed for one day's performance, [AitBr.] &c. (often ifc., as , &c. See s.v. 2. अ॑ह)
day personified as one of the eight वसुs, [MBh. i, 2582 seqq.]
