UPENDRA   A synonym of Viṣṇu. Mahāviṣṇu once took birth by aditi the wife of Kaśyapaprajāpati. In that birth Mahāviṣṇu had the name Upendra. he was known as Vāmana too. [Bhāgavata, 10th Skandha] .
