   1. A rock or small island in the midst of the river SONA. 2. An insular spot inclosed by the branches of the SARAJU, where it falls into the ganges above CHUPRĀH, at BHRIGURĀŚHRAMA or BAGERESSAN; called also, the bank of the DARDARĪ.
