योगधर्म

   A duty, virtue, or peculiar business of a योगी. ten are particularized; viz. अहिंसा, सत्य, अस्तेय, ब्रह्मचर्य, अपरिग्रह. these five are named यम. then शौच, संतोष, तप, स्वाध्याय, ईश्वर- प्रणिधान. these five are named नियम. another enumeration gives अहिंसा, सत्य, अक्रोध, त्याग, शांति, अपैशुन, दया, अलोभ, मार्दव, लज्जा. another includes दम, क्षम, अचापल्य, तेज, तितिक्षा &c. these discrepancies matter little. all the duties and virtues, understood with some qualification, would adorn, not the योगी, but the christian or the man; and we may term them, as some Panḍits do term them, मनुष्यधर्म.
