प्रगृह्यम् [pragṛhyam]   1 A vowel which is not liable to the rules of sandhi or euphony and which is allowed to be written and pronounced separately; ईदूदेद्द्विवचनं प्रगृह्यम् [P.I.1.11] (i. e. the final ई, ऊ and ए of the dual terminations of a word or any grammatical form).
