Vile, wicked, pestilent; hateful on account of mischievousness or troublesomeness. dvāḍasvāḍa . Add:--2 द्वाड signifying Bad, and स्वाड signifying Good, the proper meaning of the compound is Bad and good; perverse and docile; malign and benign; adverse, inauspicious &c. and amicable, propitious &c.; and its applications, although the two compounds are of opposing order, are those of स्वाडद्वाड q. v.
