त्रिरात्र

   A period of three nights and three days.
   For, during, whilst, through &c. three days and three nights. Ex. कन्येनें मातेचें आ- शौच त्रि0 धरावें.

    E. त्रि three, and रात्रि night; compounded with a numeral रात्रि sub- stitutes अ for its final, and becomes neuter. तिसृणां रात्रीणां समाहारः .
