-कारणम्   (In logic) an accidental cause, not inherent and intimate relation; गुणकर्म- मात्रवृत्तिज्ञेयमथाप्यसमवायिहेतुत्वम् Bhāṣā. P.; यथा तन्तुसंयोगः पटस्य.
