अर्शस् [arśas]  n. n. [ऋ-असुन् व्याधौ शुट् च [Uṇ.4.195] ] Piles; नाशयित्री बलासस्यार्शसऽउपचितामसि [Vāj.12.97.] -Comp.
-घ्न a.  a. destroying piles.
(घ्नः) N. of the plant शुरण (Mar. सुरण), so called because it is said to cure piles.
one part of buttermilk with three parts of water.
(घ्नी) N. of the plant Curculigo Archioides Lin. (Mar. देव़डंगरी).
the marking nut plant (भल्लातक).
-युज् a.  a. afflicted with piles.
