PAYASYA   son of the sage Aṅgiras. he had eight sons named Varuṇas. they were:--Bṛhaspati, Utathya. Payasya, Śānti, Ghora, Virūpa, Saṁvartta and Sudhanvā. [Śloka 130, Chapter 85, Anuśāsana Parva] .
