   a kind of animal, [ĀśvŚr.]

-तरुः   the tree of which Kamanḍalus are made.
-धरः   an epithet of Śiva. कमण्डलुधराय धीमहि [Māhānār.2.18.]

   2. The waved-leaf fig tree: see प्लक्ष.
   E. BRAHMA or water, and मण्ड ornament or essence, from ला to get or give, and डु aff.
