To bear up, raise up, elevate.
To hold up, sustain, support; पदमुद्वहन्ती [Ku.5.85;] उद्वह धुरम् [K.19;] [Ku.6.3;] आत्मानमुद्वोढुम- शक्नुवत्यः [R.16.6,11.66;] [Śi.9.73;] [Bk.9.7;] भारम् &c.
