शक्तित्रय n. (
-यं) The three ingredieats of regal power; or king, minister, and vigour.

śaktitraya n S The trio of Powers of war; viz. प्रभुशक्ति, मंत्रशक्ति, उत्साहशक्ति q. v. in loc. 2 The trio of Powers iu construction, composition, or formation; viz. ज्ञानशक्ति Power of understanding or knowledge; क्रियाशक्ति Efficient or active power; द्रव्यशक्ति Passive power or susceptibility; the power consisting in the presence of substances endowed with properties. These are referred respectively to सत्वगुण, रजोगुण, तमोगुण, and are named सात्विकशक्ति, राजसशक्ति, तामसशक्ति.
