(ii) Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa crossed this river on his way from Indraprastha to Rājagṛha. [M.B. Sabhā Parva, Chapter 20, Verse 27] . (iii) There is a sacred place called “Vaṁśagulma tīrtha” in river Śoṇā.
