Time as seasonableness or unseasonableness is concerned; time good or bad, suitable or unsuitable. Ex. हा म्हातारा नित्य उठून शिव्या देतो कांहीं वे0 पाहत नाही; वे0 आहे चार रुपये जवळ अधिक असूं द्या; वेळ आहे अवेळ आहे सावध असावें. In the two latter examples the sense is There are seasons and junctures of all kinds; there are evil times, days of darkness, trying moments; let us be provided. This is one of the numerous colloquialisms or expressive idioms of this lively language. It corresponds with the or of Hindustání. See further under कालकल्ला & बल- कुबल. 2 as ad At a time whether suitable or unsuitable, whether early or late; at any time, without reference to times and periods. Ex. वे0 बाहेर जातोस परंतु एथें पिशाचांचा उपद्रव भारी आहे.
