Churning, shaking about, stirring, agitating; मन्थादिव क्षुभ्यति गाङ्गमम्भः [U.7.16;] [R.1.3.]
Killing, destroying.
A mixed beverage; पुंसा नक्षत्रेण मन्थं संनीय जुहोति [Bṛi. Up. 6.3.1.]
A churning-stick (मन्था also).
