BHALANDANA   A king. Though by birth he was a brahmin he became a Vaiśya because of doing things belonging to the Vaiśya community like trade and commerce. [Mārkaṇḍeya Purāṇa] . According to the [Bhāgavata] ; [Viṣṇu Purāṇa] ; [Vāyu Purāṇa] Bhalandana was the son of Nābhāga.
