ग्रामयाजक  m.  (-कः) The village priest, one who conducts the ceremonies for any or all classes, and is consequently considered as a degrad- ed Brahman; it also applies to the attendant of an idol.
E. ग्राम a village, यज् to sacrifice, in the causal form, affix वुन्; also with णिनि affix ग्रामयाजिन्.
