अपाङ्क्त     

अपाङ्क्त [apāṅkta] पाङ्क्तेय [pāṅktēya] पाङ्क्त्य [pāṅktya]   पाङ्क्तेय पाङ्क्त्य a. 'Not in the same row or line'; especially one who is not allowed by his castemen to sit in the same row with them at meals; degraded, excommunicated, excluded from or inadmissible into society, an outcast; ˚उपहत defiled by the presence of excommunicated or impious persons. एतान्वि- गर्हिताचारानपाङ्क्तेयान्द्विजाधमान् (विवर्जयेत्) [Ms.3.167.]
