देवी देवतांची स्तुती करताना म्हणावयाच्या रचना म्हणजेच स्तोत्रे. स्तोत्रे स्तुतीपर असल्याने, त्यांना कोणतेही वैदिक नियम नाहीत. स्तोत्रांचे पठण केल्याने इच्छित फल प्राप्त होते.
